ReMatter Insiders: Variables
.avif)
💡 ReMatter’s Price List feature offers a concept known as Variables.
Variables are user-defined fields that can correspond to market indices (COMEX, LME, AMM, PPI) or anything the user wants and contain a user-entered value. This variable can be used to write formula-based price calculations directly in ReMatter.
For example, let’s say our COMEX variable is set at $3.50. We can write a formula for Copper #1 that reads $COMEX * .8 with an evaluated price of $2.80.

Best of all, by pricing material using variables, users can update multiple price lists by changing a single variable. These variables can be updated from your computer or even on the phone, if you’re on the go.
